Two of Swords – Needing to make a decision; a crossroads; an impasse; stalemate, head and heart opposing each other, feeling conflicted.

Three of Swords – Mending a broken heart, forgiveness, acceptance needed, grief, rejection, disloyalty, unfaithfulness, painful truths.

Four of Swords – Rest, retreat, respite, relaxation, recuperation –  all after struggles, meditation, recovery, contemplation.

Five of Swords – Winning ungracefully, gloating; humiliation, win at all costs, defeat, poor sportsmanship.
