Mind Mapping

Mind mapping is an extremely beneficial tool and a great way to deepen your card meanings, elemental meaning, etc. It pushes you to broaden your thoughts in a creative way.

Mind mapping is one of the best ways to capture your thoughts and bring them to life in visual form. Beyond just note-taking, mind maps can help you become more creative and improve your memory.

If you would like to read more about mind mapping this is a great article .

I have found mind mapping one of best tools to deepen my own personal meanings of the cards. I have had to take so many different medications for my migraines and I have really noticed a difference in how long it takes my mind to process things and my memory is absolutely awful. I am not as quick witted as I used to be, my impeccable memory is now complete mush, and I even have a hard time spelling and doing math; two areas I used to be proficient at. Not that I’m old, but I’m sure age is a factor that contributes to these issues.

It may not be difficult to come up with keywords for each cards and the elements, but what about going deeper?

If you can take a few keywords for each card and expand on those keywords, you can gain a deeper understanding of each card. I also believe if you have a broad understanding of the four classic elements, you’ll have a clear, sound understanding of what each of the four suits represent.

I like doing mind mapping on my Ipad and I use Simple Mind app. But, of course, you can do mind-mapping on whichever devices you would like and, you can always do this the old-fashioned way – with colored pens/pencils on paper.
